Cancer kills millions of people every year and the only way to beat it is through research. But research can’t continue without donations from the public. And high-street donations are on the decline. So we created interactive digital screens that worked as virtual donation tins in Cancer Research storefronts all over the country. The installations were made up of a contactless payment reader and a screen showing footage of a scientist not working. Every time a member of the public tapped the contactless payment reader, they donated £2 and the scientist began working on finding a cure for cancer.
